There is nothing in the world that is better for controlling cholesterol than a low fat Diet and Exercise and Stress Control. Secondly, there are several other factors in the blood profile that have now been recognized as causing atherosclerosis, such as Homocystine, C-Reactive Protein, Lipoprotein A, and Fibrinogen, just to mention a few. Of course, only a few laboratories with sophisticated equipment can test for these factors. The body manufacturers enough protein to support the needs of cells, so we really take in too much cholesterol in our foods. I limit myself to a scanty 10mg of cholesterol in my daily diet and my Guru for all of this is Dean Ornish M.D.
