Initial Plan (Appendix/Draft)

Reverse schedule for an ISBI 2005 submission:

• By October 1st (1 month beforehand): complete all experiments and begin writing up and producing figures from the data
• By September 15th: comparison between the 2 methods (overlap, Specificity) to produce graphs for validation
• By September 10th: benchmarking and evaluation of registration (model building)
• By August 20th: results received from overlap-based evaluation
• By August 15th: evaluation based on Specificity and Generalisation to be completed (processed in parallel with overlap measures for evaluation)
• By August 10th: build 3+ different models using different registration algorithms, e.g. group-wise, pair-wise and a variant of the MDL algorithm
• By August 1st: registration quality confirmed to have improved (based on ground truth)
• By July 20th: high-quality registration of images and labels to reach a good starting point
