The work on automatic model building has already been taken further by a team of which the author of this thesis was a member. Exploration of models and refinement of their quality by improving NRR methods led to positive results. NRR produced a triangulation for sets of brain images and sets of face images from which models of appearance were built []. The algorithm was then extended to 3-D and applied to brain images.
