It could be much worse. Since I took up your technique of using wget I
have had so much garbage piled up on my hard-drive. Among the good stuff, I
spotted hard-core techno and some files that can barely be classified as
"music". It's all very amusing.
Anyhow, I also 'upgraded' your command so that it takes advantage of the
100Mbit/sec connection:
wget -r -l1 -H -t1 -nd -N -np -A.mp3 -erobots=off -i
~/Freely_Distributed_Music/list1.txt & wget -r -l1 -H -t1 -nd -N -np -A.mp3
- -erobots=off -i ~/Freely_Distributed_Music/list2.txt & ...
