Tools -> Preferences -> tick Open any news automatically in browser

PS - FWIW, whether this was intentional or not, when a feed (on the left
pane) gets clicked, it will only be highlighted unless the /text/ is
clicked, in which case it is also opened (latest beta in use). I find this
adverse to user expectation. E-mail clients, news readers, and other RSS
readers do not behave in this way. GTK and QT likewise, but I am not sure
about Java/SWING.
