Humidity is the result of water evaporation so typically damp places would
have plenty of water that cannot percolate through the ground and high
enough temperatures to heat up this water. (*How the heck did we reach this
topic?*)

Honestly, I am quite surprised that this is a main concern to one who is
moving to Asia. If humidity was an issue, wouldn't countries like Malaysia
fall behind in technological advances?
