the two are not that great. The loss of single stroke characters was bad
but unavoidable. The two strokers suck but I get fewer misreads except
for the previously mentioned "L"s followed by a period or space. This
could be fixed by bringing back the old "L"s and "T"s.
Anyway here are my preferences (lowercase for G1 uppercase for G2)

For punctuation I like the G2 strokes better (they more closely resemble
the real characters).
Ultimately it is a religious issue.
