A similar or at least related question came up in this group a few weeks ago.
I suggest you have a look at that entire thread:

There appears to be a way of achieving this, but it is by no means trivial.

Ah. I didn't realise you were using an old version of KNode. Here's how it
looks in KNode 0.9.0:

So I guess your problem's already been fixed, but you'll need to upgrade
KNode/KDE to get what you want.
