I suspect that some vendors already have Firefox shipped among their 'fac-
tory defaults'*. I see more and more computers (often newly-bought) with
Firefox installed. Whether it is downloaded shortly after the purchase, I
can't tell and I never ask. It would be most surprising if it came from
Dell because of their special relationship with Microsoft. I guess they
must give people what they want. Imagine the impact of treating OpenOffice
2 similarly!

(*) KDE-based distributions had similar dilemmas with Konqueror and Firefox,
it seems.
