I suspect that the OP wants to mute the so-called 'clicks' without stopping
any of the other "System Sounds". I reckoned that he already knew how to do
that because he had followed the path to the right menus already.

If that's the case, it is probably impossible unless HackMaster (or
equivalent) gets installed. I was going to say this earlier, but waited for
someone to break my assumption.
