which is most of the on-line world - very few outside a few fanatics care
about Microsoft in the way implied. There's probably more that get upset
by BP or Exxon than Microsoft.
but otherwise you're asking for trouble. GMail would be a safe
compromise as long as the account name is professional and not something
like C00lGurl2000@gmail.com.
With respect, I have to disagree. Using any widely known free mail
service creates entirely the wrong impression in a commercial transaction.
exceptions are few and include the online identity of individuals. so for
example if I were buying something from you personally (as opposed to any
business you may be running) then I wouldn't be surprised to be receiving
mail from roy@hotmail.com
