If what you are looking for are charts for a variety of shares, you might be
better off using on-line services that are Web-based. Why? Well, firstly,
it is clear that for real-time data, you must be connected. Any application
that makes use of a connection is essentially a substitute to the browser,
but it may lack some of its functionality.

I recommend Yahoo because interaction is easy while pages are not overly
loaded with graphics and navigation keys. If you have a Palm-powered
device, you might want to look into software called Charts, which is also
free.

In the distant past I used a piece of software from DLJDirect and it was
quite impressive. I believe it is long gone though.
