I have just spent hours trying to work out a problem. I could not identify
the reason why no application would open in KDE with XF86. It appears that
there may be a limit imposed on the number of X-sessions. Is that so? And
if the answer is yes, can someone suggest why this is a /good/ or necessary
thing? Or why I cannot get a useful notification when this number is
reached (unless I am within a shell)?

Thanks in advance,

Roy
