Perhaps not an immediate change. PageRank is updated periodically. I've just
run a mass check which 'diffs' PR values with respect to previously
recorded values. No changes reported. I wonder why it was down to begin
with; and why it came back...

Maybe Google are trying to say: "don't you mess with us". It's like a parent
that takes the toys from a child and returns them after a week.
