I have done that for my sites, but whether it is helpful or not depends on
what you are willing to give away (e.g. telephone numbers?!). Being listed
in Alexa's database is not a bad thing if you want to project your presence
to the world... well, at least that small subset of it which has the
toolbar(s) installed.
