Wow, thanks folks!! *smile*

I guess I initially came here to just vent my frustration with anti-Linux
sentiments (inter-person encounters on- and off-line, as well as on-campus
confrontations). The impact seems to extrapolate. I neglected some of the
more technical newsgroups, but I guess this serves a different role.

I'm leaving for 2 weeks on Tuesday night (conference in Washington). Here is
