man ftp
open/connect, put, get, cd, ls
These commands, having started an FTP session in the *nix command line, will
allow you to establish a connection, upload, download, move between
directories, and list files, respectively. You could, of course, just use a
front end like GFTP, Konqueror, or whatever. I hope it helps. I am assuming,
based on your other post, that connection is intended to be FTP, port 21.
