Any recommendations for video editing software on linux?
No, not the 1 billion dollar stuff, just freeware.
Taco

I hear good things about:

http://www.heroinewarrior.com/cinelerra.php3

There are also specialised Linux distribution for audio and video production
work. Web-based services exist as well.

Best wishes,

Roy

Take a look at LiVES...

http://lives.sourceforge.net/

Altough Cinelerra is a great application, it can be complicated to use. LiVES should be more easy for daily use. I must commit I've not used either, but thats what I have understood from other users...
