That statement is there because of contracts they have to sell 
windoze.  It is not anyone's real opinion.  microsuck has to pay 
people to get the opinion they want. This is cloaked as a marketing 
expense but its just a bribe and extortion combined.  Of course the 
average user has no idea that it is all lies.
