Let's not forget that "Ultimate" is only a platform on which Office (being
the more expensive component) resides. With Vista Ultimate at $450 and
Office 12 for potentially more than that amount.... hmm.... that's like
what? 7 Linux boxes? Which include OpenOffice 2 'out of the box'? Let's
think... $1000 buys you:

EITHER: shrink-wrapped Vista and Office 12, which require a super-duper
computer merely to run.

OR: 7 brand new boxes with SUSE 10.1, which includes OpenOffice 2, community
support, and far beyond that (including stability  and secureity, which are
a hidden cost in the former).

I think it's a no-brainer.
