On the subject of Windows, & things being unstable:
An interesting item on BBC's NorthWest News about doctors, patients & the
NHS booking system. Patients have been complaining about the
 http://www.chooseandbook.nhs.uk/
They say that they've had a hard time getting into the system, which
invariably crashed on them. One complained that he couldn't get into it to
book an appointment for TWO days, because (he was told) the system had
crashed.
Doctors have been complaining that it crashes at least once a day, & also
that it is cumbersome & *slow*. Take a wild guess which operating system
this "Choose & Book" runs on!
