You still can't do streaming on packet networks reliably, though, unless
you get connection-oriented packet switching (carrier-grade ethernet).
China Telecom are rolling it out, so the first country *in the world* to
get this technology will be China.  Skype will work there, so long as
you can get the skype streams (video & audio) onto the deterministic
network.
