Great, yet ANOTHER not-invented-here project trying to do the same thing as
other existing projects. What's wrong with SDL for instance?
SDL is aimed at computers, OpenKode is aimed at Phones & PDAs.

Nope.
The article does say it offers features similar to DirectX, but doesn't
say it's an alternative.
