Mono is said to be dying and Red Hat rejects it, to address your new question
about Oracle on Linux (probably Red Hat or Unbreakable).

As the days go by, Novell and Microsoft converge. They have become like
conjoined twins, so to speak, and they now even share opinions on FOSS, as
well as share banner space. The vision of Microsoft Linux is coming nearer
to a shocking reality.

Best wishes,

Roy
