LOL...I worked under this guy (a few levels down)  for a couple of years
(Joachim Kempin), but I met him personally a few times.

He's a card...very heavy Germanic accent, but extremely smart.  The sort of
person where you would say half a sentence about some project idea and he'd
responsd, "yes, yes", as if he understood the whole thing completely in an
instant.

I wouldn't take his statements too seriously, I think half the time these M$
execs were telling Gate$ and Ball-me what they wanted to hear, all the
while thinking "this Linux thing is gonna ruin us".
