Yes, I thought about these comments while I wrote that sentence. It's about
perceived value and demand in the market rather than long-term production
costs. I suppose that on-one would actually go out and buy an XBox (as
opposed to an XBox 360), so might as well avoid waste and convert the box
into something useful such as a L*** Web server, or a TV-bound appliance.
