But Linux is just a kernel. *smile*
Actually, the choice available is rather impressive. Office
suites/applications are still diverse in the Open Source
world (and they survive too). No wonder Corel could not make
money out of WordPerfect for Linux. Freedom and freedom
always win, unless ignorance or lickins pervail. It's still
possible to work on slides in LaTeX (or front-ends) with all
the graphical goodness. Same with JavaScript and (X)HTML,
which is my favourite route.
