The whole LiveCD thing continues to move forward at a fantastic rate.
To be honest, now, the idea of a system which can only be installed on a
machine with scores of Gigs of HDD space, and a couple of Gig of Ram
seems so terribly retro - a real leap back in time to the 1990s way of
approaching computing.

I /expect/ linux to run on my phone, pda, boot of a usb key, run off a
CD, net boot from a server, etc. etc. etc.
