I use all 3, plus Solaris. If I could only have one computer for a
desktop, I think I'd lean towards a Mac.
I recently bought a Core Duo iMac for my Mom and it's a really nice
machine. (I don't like the Mighty Mouse thing, but I've never liked
Apple's mice - going back to the Apple ][+.)

He wants more innovation? And here I thought Apple had been doing
pretty well at that. I guess some people are never happy. Maybe he
should switch to Vista? :-)
Lock up the OS? Is he referring to that bit from Tom Yager? Yager made
it up to cause a fuss and get some notoriety.
