That's the root of the issue. People should not be blamed
for purchasing a computer that happened to come with faulty
software (ask yourself what deals are behind the lack of
choice or selection). The company that is responsible for
this, on the other hand, should be held accountable. Where
is the liability and where does it all end? See the

grow at a non-linear pace. You, as a Linux user, pay for
extra hardware (ISP costs), spare time purging SPAM. You
possibly risk DDOS attacks, too. A world where people do not
control their machines is a world without liability. It's
anarchy. And it's getting worse...
