You may already know this, but Canonical recently introduced
a business edition of Ubuntu, which includes full support
(for a fixed cost, of course). Many people will opt to
reciprocally assist and seek assistance in forums though.
The diversity of expertise there (owing to # of people
involved) makes it more productive than telephone support.
The really hard questions can be answered in forums, but
never on the phone. Instead, call a technician a the
neighbourhood's computer geek for live troubleshooting.
Moreover, there is plenty of documentation for assistance
with Linux, so Web searches are fruitful and painless, too.
