...Nice way of reversing things. Putting the shoe on the other food, so to
speak. Not only do you get of the licence (EULA, payment, whatever), but
also you get rid of all that spyware that pushes prices down and leaves you
struggling for hours, trying to tweak your new Windows box, which crashed
regularly or begs for a wipe.
Windows: buy from OEM, strip spyware and junk, buy software, install software
and risk DLLL (hell).
GNU/Linux: let a CD spin for half an hour, choose DE of choice, software
already installed, additional software is free and Free.
