Maybe not immediately, but pretty soon, I would have thought. The
underlying tools and systems are mostly similar whatever the distro,
unless it's something obscure.

Not that long. All you need is a brain and some patience. But that's also
whey some basic familiarity with the CLI is extremely useful in Linux.
