Indonesian Government does Linux
,----[ Quote ]
| After nearly two years of planning, consideration, trials and tribulations,
| at least one branch of the Indonesian Government is completely embracing
| Linux, the open source operating system.
|
| The State Ministry of Research and Technology announced that a majority
| of its computers no longer "dual boot" to Linux and the current OS
| champion, proprietary-laden Microsoft Windows. Instead, most computers now
| boot up SUSE Linux (now owned by Novell) and come equipped with the
| OpenOffice.org productivity suite.
