I don't see Roy as any kind of threat, other than the self-absorbed morals
don't apply to him variety.
I wouldn't have a problem with his posts if he:
a) Stopped posting his stories with untrue or highly distorted subject
lines.
b) Didn't post things like years old howto's as "news".
c) Didn't post the same story multiple times (even though they're from
different sources, just the same syndicated story. Example:

Those are the identical story. Both syndicated from Business 2.0.
d) Didn't use the group as his personal traffic generator for his web site

e) Didn't pretend that every little feature someone talks about in Linux
(or Open Source) is unique and doesn't exist in other OS's. Example:
Apache Saves Bandwidth in which he not only implies that IIS can't compress
html but that IE doesn't support (both are untrue).
If he didn't do any of those things, I wouldn't have a beef with him,
though I would still be annoyed by the sheer volume of crap he spews into
the newsgroup. 320 messages a week.
