Not really. I have seen more pages dropped.

One example is my treaties page.
Before I was ranked for the main treaties page and the treaty itself.

Now I am ranked for the main treaty page and from the sitemap instead.

I have just done a quick search for dupicate text for the content of
the treaties. Google now lists just 2 sites that have the same text.

One of these sites is quite deep
sitename/folder/folder/folder/file.html

And the page in question is PR1 - Yet my one is PR3 *AND* less deep.
sitename/folder/file.html

Thsi will also make things harder for people trying to find of their
article etc has been copied on other sites. It also makes google
search [adsense] almost worthless as content on your site is less
likely to be found.

I have seen a big drop in my earnings for google search in the last
few weeks, yet an increase in adsense.

If this keeps up, then the only thing to do is make flat sites. Have
all you link exchanges on the home page etc.
