Actually, I would much prefer a KDE version of most of the applications
I use.  I already have most supporting libraries loaded, so it will
always be faster than OO.org.  Also, there is a greater possibility of
having consistent interfaces, when the same organization is behind it.
Ideally, the ODF format should ensure that it doesn't matter what
application you use (OO.org, KOffice, or $DEITY forbid even MS Office),
the resulting document would be the same.  Competition is *always* good
for the end user, no possible argument against that.
