Your Registry must have been messed up. HotSync Manager still attempts to
connect to a bug-riddled piece of software. If this consumes much of your
time, consider hosing the relevant entries in the Registry or re-install the
operating system. Next time, consider a better O/S. Linux supports Palm
deviced without requiring software or drivers, i.e. it works 'out of the
box'.
