I happened to write about it only a few days ago:

http://schestowitz.com/Weblog/archives/2006/03/06/wine-steps-up/

Many links in the body, so just follow and choose your porting solution. I
used to be running wine experimentally, but everything I need is included in
Linux. I suggest you upgrade to Mandriva 2006 or the latest beta. In due
time, you will find that all the program that you need are probably avilable
for Linux, yet not necessarily from the same vendor/developer.

Best wishes,

Roy
