Actually, that list is not accurate. It's a list of asset's microsoft HAS
owned at some time or another. Apart from the fact that Microsoft sold
it's SCO holdings more than a decade ago, the SCO of today is not the SCO
that Microsoft acquired shares of during the sale of Xenix. THAT SCO,
called the Santa Cruz Operation, sold it's assets to Caldera, then changed
it's name to Tarantella. Caldera then changed it's name to SCO (just the
letters, not Santa Curz Operation).
Microsoft has never owned any part of the current SCO. Remember, that
Caldera was started by Ray Noorda, who hated Microsoft. He bought DR-DOS
from Novell specifically to sue Microsoft. It seems likely that he bought
USL from Novell as well, to sue IBM and others.
Of course when they were suing Microsoft, you guys had no trouble with
them.
