...Glad you found the cause for this issue. The news servers fail to
aggregate the latest posts. You can try to contact them or find alternate
routes to getting news read. Google Groups and other Web-based gateway are
nowhere on par with native, desktop-bound applications like slrn or KNode.
Only mobility can be an issue, unless you can SSH with X-forwarding (or just
telnet for slrn) from the outside, foreign machine. I do it /all/ the time.
