Benefits: Microsoft lose money whenever you set up a powerful Linux box.
Perhaps Google should start running their datacentres with Xboxes, only to
see Microsoft going broke.

Downside: developers fall to this illusion that many Xboxes are being sold
and then develop more games for Microsoft customers to enjoy.
