As much as I would love to agree, I worry that handhelds that rely on
wireless, rather than be connected to a mobile telephone network, are
becoming obsolete. The following was published yesterday:

The Mylo could, however, appeal to a niche or grab the market of those who
remain in the area. I notice that sharp has a phenomenal jump. They sell the
Zaurus which is Linux-based, though countries where these get distributed
are limited.

Hmmm... I do with my 320x320 screen the same stuff that I did back in 2002 --
simple PIM. I don't know why/how/if people require so much beyond this.
Reading and writing mail is hard with small screens, even if you have a
foldable keyboard. It's slow and cumbersome, so it's usually better to wait
until you reach a desk/laptop... unless, of course, you must travel a lot,
need good battery life, and want to carry nothing but a pocket-sized gadget.
