That Technocrat article which was followed by Ballmer's announcement the day
after (a fully-fulfilled prophecy) just does not sit well. But Peter is
right. It would be wiser to wait. But how long for? This could take a year
for speculations to become a reality. It's all about conspiracy theories at
the moment and there is a helluva lot of precedence here (MS-Novell history,
SCO, Halloween Memos) to contradict these smiles from Ballmer and Hovespian.
Ballmer's is the smile of the devil. Hovespian seems to just smile like an
innocent fool. Doesn't Novell face court at the moment? It's defending
itself against Microsoft'ssockpuppet, which by the way, has nothing but a
fabricated case with a goal (Microsoft's agenda solely).
Best wishes,
Roy
