Make up your mind on ICT, Shuttleworth tells government
,----[ Quote ]
| Shuttleworth believes that South African government needs to take
| several steps to catapult the country into the future. The first step
| would be to make achievable commitments, for example, committing to
| run between five and fifteen percent of government laptops on Linux or
| free software by 2007. Next, South Africa must increase the ability
| of education to produce graduates that are as comfortable using free
| software as its proprietary counterpart, giving them the ability to
| choose the best tool for the job.
