It's probably better to take that approach, although I have to say that
I tend to look to spot troll-like language in every message, and if I'm
even suspicious, I'll often say so. Genuine posters react differently
to trolls in this situation - genuine ones are usually a little offended
but recover and accept an apology. The trolls however immediately spout
off in a load of anti-linux and anti-cola diatribes, often listing
detailed names of who posts and their history, even though they claim
this be their first or second posting - it's pretty in-your-face stuff.
Mr Quark came into the latter category, afairc.
