Lol, funny how "integration" is becoming so popular with Linux these days.

Yes, it's a disturbing trend.

I don't see it as disturbing, it is still doing things the linux way(tm). You can still install each of the applications separately and you can still configure each of them, this just adds to the choices the user has.
