It took me a while to find it myself... only a couple of days ago when I got
a new monitor. The natural thing was to identify this option under the GNOME
options panel (can use both in parallel under SUSE), which has the same
effect. It's hidden beneath fewer layers of settings and knobs. I can see
why KDE can seem/be daunting to new users, but it's not much simpler under
alternative O/Ses. GNOME, on the other hand, should get credit for
simplicity that helps. No context menus, no Control Center...
