Danish Politicians Given OpenOffice CDs to Try Out ODF

,----[ Quote ]
| Per Groklaw: "[PJ: The link is in Danish, but a volunteer, Karl
| Jorgensen, has provided a translation for us.] The Danish Unix System
| User Group (DKUUG) has decided to give all the memebrs of parliament a
| CD with the free open-source office package OpenOffice.org 2.0.3 in
| Danish....The action will give the politicians a chance to see what
| the discussion about open standards is really about. OpenOffice.org
| uses the so-called Open Document Format (ODF) which has already been
| approved as an ISO standard, whilst the promised Microsoft Office 2007
| uses another standard, Office Open XML. - Comon.dk"
