"once when the data would be transferred"   yug - that just doesn't make
sense at all.  Should it be "once when the data might be transferred",
perhaps?  Or "when the data will be transferred", or even "when the data
could be transferred"?

The increasing abuse of the word "would", principly by Americans, is
not helping anyone!
